At Saccomano Academics, we believe that every student has the potential to succeed. We strive to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that empowers students to reach their full potential and achieve their goals.
Our Summer Programs allow students the time and resources to advance through the curriculum at their own pace by learning concepts in an organized presentation of new knowledge supported by review and connection of core concepts. Students work through recorded teaching lectures while completing accompanying packets. All lessons can be done online or in our office during our summer hours.
Our center is staffed from June 3, 2024 through June 27, 2024 and July 8, 2024 through August 1, 2024, Monday through Thursday from 12pm to 6pm to help guide students through the process by answering questions, administering practice tests, and facilitating test corrections.
We can bolster a student’s foundational skills and/or give a headstart for each math subject beginning at Algebra 1 up through AP Calculus.
Summer day passes allow flexibility, which fits the individual needs, and schedule, of each student.
Teachers will often require students to complete Summer Math Packets to ensure each student has the knowledge required to do well in their new math class.
You can find these packets on the Cherry Creek High School Website.
Students can schedule an appointment to get help with any problems that they do not understand, or can not correctly solve, on these packets.
Students who are advancing from Physical Science Honors into AP Chemistry can greatly benefit from in-person summer sessions with access to an instructor. Over the past years we have found that many students struggle with the increase in difficulty and a gap of base knowledge when making this jump. We have been providing a prep course using our SaccoScience Chemistry Honors Curriculum for Cherry Creek High School students to help advancing students start with all the knowledge they need to be successful along with their peers. In order to provide the necessary base knowledge for students to succeed in the AP Chemistry class, we have found that completion, and understanding, of the first four (out of fifteen) chapters in the Chemistry Honors textbook gives students the base they need for success in the AP course. Additional chapters are available for purchase upon request after the first four chapters are completed.
